What we don't collect
There are no accounts, forms, newsletters or payments on this site. The site sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device (no local storage or similar), and uses no advertising or social media tags and no fingerprinting.
Anonymous usage statistics
We count how the site is used with our own cookieless statistics, recorded by this site's server on Cloudflare (Workers Analytics Engine). When you open a page or use the Finder, your browser sends a short message to this site with, for example: the kind of page and its address without your search details, whether the screen is a phone, tablet or desktop size, your search in general terms (kind of cruise, part of the day, how many days ahead, which filters were used and how many results were found) and, when you follow a link to a seller, which seller and which cruise.
We don't record your IP address, browser details or any identifier for you or your device with these statistics, so we can't tell who you are or link one visit to another. Cloudflare deletes the statistics automatically after three months. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, it sends no statistics at all.
Your searches
When you search, your choices (date, time of day, departure point, budget and similar) are sent to our server to find matching cruises and appear in the page address so you can share or reload it. We don't store them against you.
Hosting and logs
The site and its search service run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.). Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in its own privacy policy. Cloudflare also shows us aggregated traffic figures, such as the number of requests. Our server code keeps a log of errors only (for example when the search service can't load data), without IP addresses, for up to 7 days.
Cruise data is stored in a database at Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). No visitor data is stored there.
If you email hello@seinecruisefinder.com, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards your message to our mailbox, which is hosted by Microsoft. We use your message and address only to reply and keep them for our records.
Fonts and images
Fonts and images are served from this site, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts or other third parties.
When you follow a seller link
Links to Viator, Tiqets and operators take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies and cookies. Affiliate links tell the seller that you came from us so we can be credited for a booking; we don't receive your booking or payment details.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection laws, such as the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom or the privacy laws of some US states, may give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to object to its use and to complain to a data protection authority. Apart from emails you send us, we hold no personal data about visitors. To make a request, email hello@seinecruisefinder.com.
